This CD is wonderful. It is a must for those who enjoy the best. I bought it to listen to the best, and I certainly was not disappointed, as I love each and every selection. I listen to this album most every evening, and never tire of it. "Whisper To The Night", the tenth selection, is the most beautiful composition ever, especially the way Daniel plays it. I enjoy this CD so much that I bought a copy for a good friend, and he loves it as much as I do.

This cd is a wonderful blend of romantic classical influences tinged with jazz touches. The music is well-balanced between composition and technique. To me, the thing that is most impressive about it is how the pieces take you on a journey through different shades of color, moods, and landscapes within, without losing the threads of the compositions which maintain continuity in the pieces. The melodies are touching and memorable, and the harmonies are unique and complex, without being too "avant guard" or atonal. Some pieces bring me to tears, while others take my on a journey through the imagination. This cd is "exceptional."

From classical to jazz to new age, this album showcases Daniel's extraordinary talent and mastery of the piano. The nocturnes are beautiful pieces, and the Lone Hiker Suite is something I'll never tire of listening to; with each listen another texture, mood, interplay of harmonies is revealed. As a beginner piano player, this album is a fantastic inspiration, and although I'm unlikely to ever achieve the level of skill and talent displayed, having something this beautiful to listen to drives me to practice more and more. Now, Daniel, when's your next album going to be available? :-)

A very, very good CD. Imaginative, different music, though well rooted in clasical, harmonic and melodic approaches. We can hear shades of Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Chopin, Brahms, Jobim, Ellington and even Pat Metheny. However, the melody lines are unique and original. This recording shows that there is still room for exploration and creativity within "classical" structures that some critics would maintain have been exhausted. My favorite is the "Lone Hiker Suite" with its unusual incorporation of american jazz and blues into the "classical" musical tradition. The only thing the music may be lacking is more effective use of silences. Other than that it is a superb achievement. I highly recommend it. But then again, I may be biased since I'm his father, and very proud of him.

Very nice! Very nice, indeed! My tendency is to plug in the CD and walk away--I use it for background music. It's very pleasant for that. I've been meaning to sit down and just quietly listen to the whole CD from start to finish, in order to have more specific feedback to provide, but haven't found the time yet. My favorite song is the duet with Carla. I enjoy the different sounds of the instruments together; they complement each other beautifully. And oh by the way....The whole production of this is WAY COOL!! From the professional CD, to the CD cover and insert with photos and write-ups and everything. Even the web site! I did the whole ordering thing on-line with my credit card (even though I didn't have to) "just to see" how it'd go. VERY PROFESSIONAL! Truly--this is a professionally done production. I'm always proud to say to friends, "And I KNOW these guys!! I ACTUALLY KNOW them!"

Each selection exhibits tremendous talent, and an interesting range of influences. My favorite piece is the hauntingly beautiful "The Princess", with the blending of Daniel's piano and Carla's violin. In total, this CD is a valuable addition to the collection of all piano aficionados.

This CD is fantastic. Very strong ties to classical piano, yet with modern twists. The Nocturnes are haunting, evoking a solitude that is inviting and peaceful. The duet (The Princess) with the violinist is fantastic. As a father of a cellist and violinist I hope Daniel does more combinations with strings. Your dad and I are business acquaintences and I once heard you play at his house back in 1996 at a party he had hosted there. He told me about your CD and I immediately wanted to purchase one, remembering how fantastic you played that evening so many years ago. Looking forward to the next release!

"Whisper to the Night" is an absolutely wonderful CD. The underlying structure of Daniel's compositions has complexity and solidness while the surface is smooth and melodic. His playing is lovely. A perfect gift for this holiday season.

Daniel Padrón must be a visionary of past and future with his new CD. He seems to blend an ancient mystical knowledge of sound to this 21st century creation "Whisper to the Night." At the wellness center where I work, we play this CD for our patients before they see the doctor. People report feeling deeply relaxed, balanced, and think this CD is wonderful. Every person that enters our office experiences life stresses in the form of time crunches, over-stimulation, and anxiety. Through this dreamy, softly ambient, and sometimes moving masterpiece, one experiences the ability to heal and change, leaving everyday life behind. This CD is perfect for relaxing, massage, meditation, and dancing in the moonlight. You can just close your eyes and see Daniel's fingers caressing the piano keys, infusing his music with the vibration of love. "The Princess" happens to be one of our favorite pieces. This duet of piano by Daniel and violin by his wife Carla touches our souls. The piece ranges gently through layered melodies creating a sonic environment that is extrodinarily perfect and guaranteed to take you to a place called Nirvana. Thanks, Daniel, for a great CD.

I think I like the Nocturnes the best. Daniel's compositions are very sophisticated. I have heard plenty of modern composers, and he has something that I haven’t heard…soul. There is a fire in his music that comes through.
